Here is a draft of the letter we will be sending to the Port Authority.
To Whom It May Concern:
We are writing to voice our strong opposition to the Port Authority's proposal to raise fares on the PATH train by 33%.
With global warming, traffic congestion, and a dangerous dependence on foreign oil, we should be incentivizing public transportation, not punishing those who use it to commute to work, spend time with their families, or shop in the downtown areas served by the PATH system.
